The sewing machine

The first time I used a sewing machine is in year 10, in my soft tech class. The sewing machine is my enlightenment to design. In the soft tech class at the time, we learned how to use the sewing machine and how to make clothes or bags we designed. It's a very wonderful process, and when your design turns into a finished product in your own hands, I really enjoy it. Since then I have been curious about design, and often record my inspiration in my spare time. After that, I bought a sewing machine and put it at home so that I can make small things at home in my free time. For example, I have made some hair bands, Chinese sachets, doll clothes and so on.

It is easy to use, and most people can use it proficiently after learning it once or twice. It doesn't need the assistance of any other electronic products, but this also limits what it can do. It generally can only combine fabrics. There are some high-end sewing machines that can embroider patterns, but these can only stay in the scope of fashion design. It is completely unsuitable for wood or other materials, so although it is my favorite design machine, it is not the best.

But I think each machine has its own role, so as a designer we need to use each machine and software skillfully, and then combine them to create a better design. Each machine is irreplaceable and has its own advantages and disadvantages, so there is no best or worst machine, but only which machine is most meaningful to you.
