Me as a newbie designer

After this month of study, I have a deeper insight into the design area than before. Before taking this course, I thought that design was only limited to traditional design, such as fashion design, architectural design, and more. But now, I know that design is more of a way to connect different things. And as a designer, you not only need to have your own ideas, you also need to listen to the requirements of customers. I originally thought that as a designer, you only need to create what you want to create, but now I find that the products we designed need to meet the needs of other people, to achieve that we have to do a lot of interviews to make it happen.

I actually have a very broad interest as I haven't yet found a specific interest in design. I am open to learning any type of design, such as UX design, AR design or other ordinary designs.
However, what I found really hard these weeks is using the apps, such as photoshop and illustrator, I haven't learned how to use them before so I am really struggling to use them properly, and sometimes I will get mad at the computer just because I can't do what I wanted it to do. :(
In the future, I am more looking into doing designs that could help me to do marketing, for example, product design or advertisement design or UX design, because I am doing a conjoint program, I am hoping these two programs can work together smoothly. I will also be very interested in entrepreneurship and design, I might want to try and set up a business after I graduate from university.
