Unlike Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality potentially has more use. Generally speaking, AR is to make electronic devices understand the real world, and superimpose virtual information on the basis of the real world, so as to achieve the effect of augmented reality.

The current electronic devices that can experience AR are mainly mobile phones and tablets. In the future, AR devices will inevitably be as lightweight as glasses. By that time, AR will serve as an extension of human limbs. Electronic screens will no longer be limited by physical size. The real world is the screen that connects the virtual world.
From recognizing the real world to superimposing virtual information
There are mainly 3 recognition methods which are face recognition, object recognition, and environment recognition.
I am going to focus on environmental recognition, the real environment is a very complex scene because there are a lot of different objects in the real world, among which there is a relationship between distance and visual occlusion, so if AR wants to be better integrated into the real world, it needs to be in the real environment. The object establishes the relationship between distance and visual occlusion.
Apart from Pokemon Go, Angry birds also have established an AR game in 2019.

This game builds augmented reality elements based on the real world. The user needs to use the mobile phone as a slingshot to shoot the bird out. The gameplay is the same as the original one, however, the game screen has changed from horizontal to vertical. When there are no obstacles in real life, players can walk 360 degrees around freely to find the best angle of attacking the pigs.
At the same time, the game’s interface, level selection, and clearance have all been turned into AR. The result is to give players a very high sense of immersion. You will lose the separation between the game and reality in Angry Birds AR. And have a feeling of Immersing yourself in this world of fantasy and reality.
